We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Marco is an active six-month old pup who is ready for his new home. He came to the CCAC over one month ago, and has put on weight, developed confidence, and made many new friends among the volunteers and employees. Marco will not get overly large, even though he is a hound, because of his rough start in life. He and his siblings were found abandoned under a bridge in the rural part of the county. They are lucky to have been rescued; Marco had an injury to his back leg and we weren't sure he was going to survive due to the pain in his leg as well as his emaciated frame. Good news is that he not only survived, but his leg healed nicely and he is no longer a skeletal bit of a boy. He weighs about 22 to 24 pounds, and is looking good!
