5/11/14 Transferred to rescue in NJ. Wesson came in with his pal, Smith as strays. They were found on Lynbrook Road where they have been hanging around at the area near Clarks Road. Wesson is sweet as can be and if not reclaimed, he will be available for adoption soon. Dogs and puppies at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly only to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases.
