Sundari came in as a stray with her brother, Jumanji. It is quite apparent they had a home before because they were well groomed and are very loving and sociable. We are hoping they get reclaimed soon, but if not, Sundari will be available for adoption soon. It would be wonderful if they could be adopted together because they are very bonded and cats always do better in twos.

The policy for adoption requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age.
If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
