After an adoption a few years ago, Hashbrown ended up out of the house and on his own. He was resourceful enough to recognize friends when he wandered to the Thrifty Paws Thrift Store, on Amherst Highway, and begged for help. We are so glad he was taken to the Humane Society for Amherst County, scanned for a microchip, and was then transferred to Campbell County for care. He has regained his strength, his coat is filling in, and he is happy to have attention after being neglected for many months. We can't predict the future when we adopt out our pets, and rely on the public to help if you see a pet in need. We are glad Hashbrown will get a second chance at a decent life now.

Hashbrown is a fun-loving boy! He likes chasing jingle balls and playing with a variety of toys. He will probably not be a lap cat for you, but he likes to be petted and to be close. He loves attention and is affectionate, yet can be frisky. Orange cats are so much fun!
