Even though the shelter was closed today, Luna was taken in as an owner surrender. She appears to be a one year-old German shepherd/corgi mix. (If we were designer-dog aficionados, we would call her a Corman.) We don’t know anything about Luna other than the note that was made on her form that said she has separation anxiety. We don’t know how it manifests itself, if another dog would help her get through it, or if she has ever been exposed to children or cats. At this point, you know as much as we do! She was fearful today at the shelter, because it was so loud and noisy so we didn’t push her very hard to make friends with her. Tomorrow is another day and tomorrow will be a great day to really see if she will respond to us. Isn’t she gorgeous? She is under 40 pounds. A nice size, German shepherd, looking dog, and a smaller dog body. We can’t wait to get to know her!
