Beagle / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Senior : : Medium
Forgive me if I tear up just a bit here, but my heart is full of sadness for this lovely lady, Molly, whose human mom passed away not too long ago, leaving her best friend behind. Plans had been set in place for Molly's care, and she is living with a friend of her mom's who is taking great care of her. However, it is just not the same as living with and being loved by your own human who spends every waking minute talking to you and taking you out for exciting dog adventures. Molly is about nine years old, and appears to be a sweet beagle mix. She has been given excellent vet care, and appears to have been careful about maintaining her svelte 35-pound figure, despite the recent COVID issues. Molly is said to be fine with big dogs, little dogs, and children who will respect her. She's been housetrained as long as she can get outside when she needs to, but her caregiver works long hours, and it is not working for Molly to be home without a bathroom break for 12 hours. Ideally, we'd love for Molly to find another senior who needs a companion, in a not-too-frisky household, and one where she can have all kinds of love and attention, so she can complete the grieving process and move on. If you know anyone who might be willing to comfort and be comforted by this lovely girl, contact us by completing an application, found here: friendsofcampbellcounty.org, under the Animals heading. We look forward to helping Molly move on!
