Missy is a sweet “fluffy” girl who desperately just wants a lap of her own. Surrendered under heartbreaking conditions after her humans could no longer care for her, her true personality does not truly shine at the shelter unless you are willing to spend some time to get to know her. She knows she can’t compete with all those cute kittens in the cages around her so chances are if you come by to visit she won’t be rubbing against the bars begging for attention, but napping quietly in her cat bed. However, if you take the time to sit with her, she will readily climb into your lap and demand pets! She is an affectionate cat and, even though the shelter has been a stressful and scary experience for her, she still has so much love to give to anyone who will show her kindness.p>This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA.
