Altavista Christmas Parade Thursday December 3rd, 2015 7:00 PM until 08:00 PM Location: Town of Altavista 24517 Volunteers with the Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, along with adopted dogs and shelter dogs, will be marching in the Altavista Christmas Parade on Thursday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. Christmas Open House Saturday December 12th, 2015 11:00 AM until 04:00 PM Location: Campbell County Animal Shelter (434) 485-6242 Map: 322 Dennis Riddle Drive Rustburg VA 24517 Christmas Open House on Saturday, Dec. 12, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Campbell County Shelter, 322 Dennis Riddle Drive, Rustburg. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., professional photographer Lisa Pitcher will take Santa photos. For a $10 donation, bring your pet and get the best the area has to offer for pet Christmas photos. From 12 to 2 p.m., sip cider and hang out with Caleb Elder, songwriter and entertainer, just back from a Mediterranean cruise. He'll be playing guitar. From 1 to 4 p.m., there will be Reindeer Games for your dog. You can also meet dogs and cats looking for homes. FOAC will have lots of volunteers to give you a hand. Tickets are $5 each or six for $25. You could win up to $2,500! Purchase tickets now through Dec. 20 at 3 p.m. online through PayPal or in person at the Campbell County Shelter, located at 322 Dennis Riddle Drive, Rustburg.
