Sampson's foster mom has begun calling him Trooper, because he has taken so many changes in stride very easily. He is working on his social skills as he is a bit nervous around hands, and doesn't want to be snagged easily. He is learning that it's okay to be held and snuggled and that not everyone is grabbing you to move you to another location.... sometimes they just want to hug you close and love you. Trooper is happy to have other dogs around, as he likes to be part of a pack. It's fun for him to have toys, too!
