Sophie's foster mom knows it will be months before she is ready for adoption. Sophie has had a rough life up till now, with no socialization from humans and very little time to be out playing with other dogs, She is being treated right now for heartworm disease, but is recovering nicely, and now has time to work on housetraining and crate training too. Saved from a not-so-great situation by a rescuer, she was transferred to our care a month ago so she could get on with her life. While we will consider applications to adopt, please know that SOPHIE just isn't quite ready to go yet.
