Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Young : : Medium Cupid: SPECIAL NEEDS: URGENT! needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
This adorable little girl arrived with a name, but because she is so cherubic we changed it up to reflect her true personality--CUPID! She has such a sweet round face, and is very intent on being well-groomed! Her coat has a tabby/spotted look about it, but it is a paler diluted tabby coloring. Isn't she adorable? Sadly, we discovered at the time of her spay that she is FIV positive. It's most certainly not a death sentence for her, but many people don't want to consider adoption or even research how FIV positive cats can live in harmony and peace with cats that are not FIV positive. What it has meant for our little CUPID is that when she catches a cold, it may take a little longer to recover. FIV is spread only by the infected cat biting another cat; it is not spread from felines to humans or from one cat to another by ordinary daily living. Cats with FIV can live for years. I think that's what CUPID has been telling us: "Please, let me live! Let me have a normal life! I'm so sweet and you will never regret this decision!" What do you think? Can we tell you more?
