UPDATE! 4/13/16 Foster Pup Coby: Coby will move mountains for his future family. We have a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs and he never tries to climb it unless I'm on the other side. He bravely climbs over the tall gate, only to follow me around. We don't think he does it defiantly, he just wants to be your shadow incase you feel like you can spare an ounce of love and/or attention. Coby is a close snuggler...very close. Every night he falls asleep on my chest as we watch TV on the sofa. This weekend he had the opportunity to fall asleep in a real bed. He decided that since human heads rest on pillows, that it would work perfectly for him too. We ended up falling asleep next to eachother as if he was a teddy bear. When my husband came to check on us, he didn't have the heart to move Coby back to his crate for the night since everyone looked so happy. Coby stayed in bed until morning and didn't once leave my side. Coby enjoys play. He wakes up full throttle with energy to burn. I let him run around our backyard before he even gets breakfast. One of Coby's main priorities is playing with his three bigger foster siblings. He adores chasing them and playing tug of war. Not only does he love to play with other four legged creatures, he knows how to play catch! Each day our heart grows for him, but we know that his perfect family is out there. They need to be a forever family that will provide him with tons of affection, guidance when needed, is OK with dogs on furniture, and enjoys a creature that wants to be next to you for the rest of his days.
COBY was "the shy one," but now that he has a foster home to love and adore him, he is the "outgoing one" who feels quite comfortable using his other brother and sister as pillows! We won't say spoiled rotten quite yet, but he is definitely on the way to being top-notch rotten! His foster mom loves any of the bully mixes and felt drawn to him immediately. We are so happy for his placement with this foster family, because they know that bully breeds need not just love, but also routine, firm expectations, tons of socializing with other dogs and new situations, and lots of kisses on the side! Want some slobbery puppy kisses of your own from this totally adorable pibble? Coby loves sleeping in your lap. The closer he can be to you, the happier everyone will be. His physical scars are healing, as well as any emotional scars. He now enjoys other dogs and even initiates play on his own. While still learning to potty only outside, we enjoy his extremely goofy run pattern that he displays. Coby hilariously hops when he is excited and pounces on dog toys with glee. This little creature would be such a great addition to your family! He is neutered, heartworm free, and has his rabies shot. Today is the day to bring Coby home!
