About Sammy: Transferred

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Red
  • Housetrained: Yes
Sammy is a lively, happy two to four year old boy who was given up by his family. He is energy packed into a muscular 18 pound body that exudes interest in everything around him. You can easily see why a min pin can be a champion at agility trials when you see this boy racing around a fenced enclosure, because he just lets himself go, smiling all the way. Sammy came to the pound already neutered. His vaccines have been updated and he has been started on heartworm preventative. He would be absolutely fine in a home with another nice little energetic dog, as well as older children. He had a great time at a play date with his buddy Rio recently, following their rather traumatic visit to the vet. Sammy and Rio ran off their built-up energy and took turns playfully nipping at one another to invite the buddy to play. A fenced yard would be icing on the cake for Sammy! He is not at the pound, but did originate there, and is now in a foster home. To adopt, please write to GatewayRegionalRescue@wildblue.net for an application.
