We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Pixie appears to be the youngest of the puppies now in holding at the CACC facility. She was a stray along with her mother, Sugar, who is also incarcerated at the pound. Sugar is friendly to humans, and is not overly protective of her puppy as long as the visitor is gentle and explains what is going on. Pixie is probably about 7 weeks old. She is no longer nursing and needs lots and lots of human interaction, i.e. snuggling, cuddling, and being handled by different people. She is well-loved and well-cared for by the folks who come by to visit. To adopt at the end of her holding time, please call the facility at 434.821-4416.
