Sam was a stray to the animal control facility on October 3. He will be available either October 9. Sam was well-loved and well-cared for at some point before he was picked up as a stray. He has obviously been to dog training classes, because he will allow no pressure whatsoever to be put on the collar around his neck. When we take him walking, he follows the person who carries the other end of the leash ever so closely, and never allows the leash to be anything but loose. He is housetrained, it appears, and his coat is luxuriously soft and clean. Sam is on the young side, probably under two years old, and is about 68 pounds, with long labby legs and happy eyes.
