Gotta love the oversized ones! Dually and his step-sister LIlly were surrendered to the county facility when their family's household insurance carrier changed and insurance no longer covered them. Here is what Dually's mom says about him: "He is an absolutely wonderful boy! He is a big beautiful baby. He is very calm and laid back; he gets excited when you come home from work, then settles right down. He is used to sleeping in bed, snuggling, loving and kissing. He is the perfect "best friend" for anyone. He has no problems at all; I would say he is perfect! He is housetrained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He has lived with two other dogs and cats, and has never been a problem." Dually is about 80 pounds, and around a year old. His human family has done a fabulous job of socializing and training him to be a good citizen.
Dually was originally adopted from the Lynchburg Humane Society. We are hoping they will take him back into their care. He is an awesome "blue fawn" color, and is currently sharing a kennel run with Lilly. PLEASE call the facility at 434.821-4416 to adopt!
Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
