About Sydney Transferred

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Black
Sydney is a great-looking dog who was turned over to animal control by the family who found her a couple weeks ago. They tried to locate her family by contacting hunt clubs in the area and putting out the word that a lovely black and tan girl was in their area, but were unsuccessful in locating her humans. Sydney is tatooed inside her ear. However, the ink markings are illegible and we cannot make out the inscription past fhe first letter. She startles easily and is "flighty," so best guess is that she is not a good hunting dog and was perhaps discarded by a hunter who felt she was worthless. At 18 months to 2 years old, and about 42 pounds, Sydney has already given birth to at least one litter of puppies, and probably more, in her past. Please contact the facility at 434.821-4416 or email us at ccac.adopt@yahoo.com to find out how to add Sydney to your household.

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
