UPDATE: October 29: Bullet is waiting at my house for his flight to rescue. His is a heart-warming personality, full of gratitude and love. Even though he in discomfort (but not pain--he is loaded with pain meds!) he still gives kisses and adores being made over and loved. It was all I could do to drag him away from the vet techs at the vet hospital where he stayed for four days. He is able to take baby steps so he can do his potty business outside, Because the new rescue which is taking him in is going to be facing a rather huge sum for his upcoming pelvic surgery, we are trying to cover his local costs of pre-treatment. The accident was witnessed by two different parties, who watched in horror as he ran in front of the vehicle and was rolled in the highway under it. Bullet is injured pretty badly--he has a broken pelvis which has caused other problems as well. Following his visit to the emergency clinic on Sunday, he was taken to a local veterinary hospital for pain management, and is now just waiting for rescue efforts on his behalf.
