Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie / Mixed (medium coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Small Learn more about the Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie.
Triscuit is a sweet little 16 pound two year old boy who was recently traumatized when he leapt out of a moving pick up truck. It was a horrible, needless accident, and because of the driver's lack of care, Triscuit suffered nerve damage to his front leg and required amputation. He has made a remarkable recovery and doesn't even realize he is "handicapped." He can walk on his two rear legs and give a "high five," and he can run up and down stairs like any normal dog with four legs. In other words, his three-legs are not holding him back in any way. Triscuit is neutered and updated with rabies vaccine and HW test. He is still working on his housetraining skills, and he is protective of his food bowl when other dogs come around. But he loves kids and big people alike, and plays very nicely with other dogs of all sizes. He is a jewel!
