Dachshund / Chihuahua / Mixed (medium coat) : : Female : : Senior : : Small Learn more about the Dachshund. Learn more about the Chihuahua.
Tiny-Mite was given to the Campbell County pound by the family of her owner. She just turned nine years old on October 1, and celebrated by having her birthday party at the county pound. Tiny Mite is in a foster home where she isafe while waiting for a family. There will be a fee to adopt this little gal, who is already spayed and up to date with her rabies vaccine. TinyMite loves other dogs, and doesn't mind sharing hher life with others. She is working hard to shed some pounds, as we discovered that her thyroid function is normal. Gentle exercise is a must for this pretty gal!
Her foster mom tells us she is losing weight and has figured out how to use the doggy door, so is much happier now. Her new nickname, "TinyTub," won't be appropriate in a few weeks, as the extra pounds melt away.
Email us at ccac.adopt@yahoo.com for an application.
Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
