Here is information about Astrid from her human mom: "Astrid is an Australian Blue Heeler, not quite 1 year old. She is a VERY smart girl, VERY eager to please. She can be exploring in the woods and, no matter where she is, if I call for her, she comes running and lands right at my feet! She is such a sweetheart.. She is special to me because I got her the very same day that my family's dog of 14 years passed away. She was such a comfort, and the CUTEST puppy ever! It will be extremely difficult losing her as well.. She hates car rides and is a little nervous for the first half hour or so of being in public, but she gets used to it quickly. She doesn't get rambunctious or anything, she just doesn't like sharing "her space" but eventually realizes that it's not all hers. :)" For more information on how to adopt, sponsor, or donate to help the animals at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility, please go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
