May is not at the county animal control facility. She is being cared for by the family who is caring for her and who took her in several months ago. She is a most interesting dog! She can sit, down, stand, back & shake now, according to her foster mom. Here are some other notes that she wrote about May: "She is 7 months so will be 8 months in February. Probably just 50 pounds but she is a big girl. She learns quickly. She is very agile. She can climb up & through my farm gates, but she comes when called & doesn't try to do the "crazy hound wanders" thing. She is highly food & praise motivated. Really wants attention. Bad thing's are she still jumps on me when excited though she is learning not to do so & she is very cat aggressive. Possibly tiny-dog aggressive too. (She does not get to run loose with the cardigans.) She would probably be a good bird or big game dog. Lots of prey drive but very willing to please." If you would like to adopt May, please fill out an application first by emailing us at ccac.adopt@yahoo.com.
