Russell came in as a stray. He is huge, but we discovered that his fur coat is lots of that size. He loves children, and spent a long time on the lap of a sweet 10-year old volunteer who was there for his photo shoot. He is so sweet, I can't imagine he can't find a home the minute his stray hold time is up! Russell will be so happy to be out of the small cat cage and in the arms of some loving family! Russell appears to really like other cats. To adopt this cat, please contact the Campbell County Animal Control Facility at 434-821-4416. The policy for adoption requires that you live in Lynchburg City, Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens who are too young to be sterilized may be adopted out through a local rescue, such as Friends of Animal Control-Campbell County.
