Cosmo came to FOAC as an owner-give up to animal control because the family's pit bull and he did not get along. I can't figure that one out, because he is super with my two adult German Shepherds and the lab mix, and the chihuahua tells him who is boss. Cosmo is outgoing, loves to play and wants to be everyone's best friend! He is about five pounds now, and is probably 10 to 11 weeks old, though it is difficult to tell for certain. Because he loves to dart out the door whenever it is opened, his ideal home will be one where there are kids older than five years old and who will be careful around him. He can get lost so easily! He is learning about sleeping safely in a crate at night, and is crated during the day to keep him safe. He is eating top of the line dog food to help his tummy and it is making a world of difference in his coat as well. He has sharp little teeth that love to grab toes and socks, so beware of needle-like punctures to your hands and fingers! He does love tug toys, stuffed toys, Kongs, sterilized beef bones, and German Shepherd tails to chew on.His availability date is March 3, which will be two weeks of quarantine to make sure he is good and healthy before going to his new home.
