American Staffordshire Terrier (short coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Medium
Nike came to us as an active stray, wearing a collar and a tag with nothing written on it. : ( He is about 80 pounds of solid dog, yet is so gentle and easy to walk, you'd never know he is built like a Sherman tank. He loves walking! We wonder if this two year old boy, who came in already neutered, has been kept chained up, as that would account for his lack of muscle development in his rear end. (There is nothing that screams "no muscles" in his chest! Seems to be fine with other dogs and is not upset when new people breeze past his kennel run. He will be available for adoption on March 10.
