About Nitro: adopted

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: White
  • Housetrained: Yes
Nitro is an adorable, active one year old. He weighs about 22 pounds, and was just given his summer "do" the evening I went to visit and get photos. Usually, his coat is long and silky, so he was still figuring out the new cut the night I arrived. He is a happy boy, smiling all the time, and he thinks everyone is a friend. He is trained to pee-pee pads in the house, but also potties outside. Transitioning him to outdoors only should not be too difficult for a family who is willing to be patient and take the time to do this. Nitro has proven himself to be good around younger children, and loves having toys tossed to him so he can fetch them and play the game over and over. Nitro is neutered, and we will provide current vetting information to his adopter when he is placed. He will also be microchipped before he leaves our care. His family loves him, but feels he needs more human time than a single person who works long full-time hours can provide him. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. Information can be obtained by email, ccac.adopt@yahoo.com, or by calling one of our volunteers at 434.851-2598.
