Retriever / Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (long coat) : : Female : : Baby : : Large Learn more about the Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler.
Chloe is a youngster, 8 weeks old and about 10 pounds, who is an active puppy. She missed being with a litter and her mom during her formative years, and would truly benefit from a home where she has "aunty" dogs to help her learn good social behavior with other dogs, as well as how to play. She is now being mentored by a sweet little beagle and an "aunty" hound dog. Chloe is a good choice for a family with dog experience. She has Australian cattle dog in her heritage, which means she is going to be extremely active and require training and attention not typical of most retriever puppies. At this time, we are considering only homes where there are other dogs home all day, as Chloe is truly benefiting from having a mentor for 24 hours a day.
