Amy is a five year old dog who is waiting so patiently for her forever home. She is well mannered, and loves having a volunteer come in to give her love. She rubs her head against their arms, legs or hands and asks for more attention that she has had in all her life. Please take Amy home with you!! She is now safely in a foster care home where she will stay till she finds a home. She is super nice with all humans, cats, and other dogs. Amy is pretty much a big goof when it comes to meeting new people. Her attitude and personality are very much like a bassett hound, so we have tried to list her as the two most prominent possible breeds in order to help her find the home she needs. The folks caring for Amy have taught her to sit, shake, and lay down, and she loves to roll over like a roly-poly bug, so her belly can be scratched. Her coat is so soft! She is eating high quality food to help her become more adoptable. Amy would love to be in a home soon!
