We can't say enough good things about this puppy, whose potential adopter is unable to follow through with his placement. He is smart! He is crate trained! He knows to back away from cats rather than go after them if they swipe at him. He knows to lay to eat his food. He knows his name, and to "Come!" He is not jumpy or nuts... just sweet as can be. However, because he is already demonstrating wonderful protective tendencies, he must be placed with someone knowledgeable and who has leadership qualities--in other words, someone who is not a pushover when it comes to tolerating bad behavior. Please call our volunteer at 434.851-2598 if you qualify for this boy. His fee is higher than most of our other foster puppies, to cover the costs of vetting already incurred and his upcoming neuter at the age of six months.
This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. Further information or an application to adopt can be obtained by email, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org, or by calling one of our volunteers at 434.851-2598.
