Gorgeous Wylie was given up to the pound. His owner had always had him inside her house, and since he was a puppy she had invited him to hop up on her lap for loving. When he became taller and heavier, she felt he could not stay with her any longer because he still wanted to be a lap dog. She asked her daughter to take him to the Danville Humane Society, a no-kill facility. Her daughter instead drove him to the pound in Appomattox, a county pound where the public has very limited access for adoptions. Wylie is 8 months old, housetrained, and good with other dogs. When I visited him, he had been there one week, and had not been let out of his kennel run that entire time. What a horrible life for a housetrained dog, who is now confined to a concrete pad and must pee and poop in his own sleeping quarters .. . which are shared with another active young dog! Please help Wylie get out!

This dog is NOT at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility, and the folks who work there are not familiar with the pet.
