Lila was saved from the pound in Appomattox where she languished for nearly two months waiting for someone to come and rescue or adopt her. She is now safely in the care of a most wonderful foster mom, who has already determined that Lila is fine with other dogs as well as cats, and is very tolerant of things being done to her (the bath in the kitchen sink, for instance!) Lila is really enjoying the pampered life after her period of incarceration! We are looking for sponsorshios so she can be treated to a vet exam, spay, and a dentistry, which will hopefully make her feel even better than she does now.
