Rat Terrier (short coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Small Learn more about the Rat Terrier.
Alana is a young adult rat terrier who came in as a stray. She is completely housetrained and was wearing a nice little harness. Hopefully she will be reclaimed quickly, as she loves humans and adores children! She is wiggly all over when she is around them. Alana is pretty confused about why she is even at the pound and in our care, and I really have to wonder if perhaps she was not just discarded by someone who wanted us to think she was a stray. She has a home interested in her if she is not reclaimed by the time her holding time is up, but until then, she needs lots of reassurances that she is loved and very special to us. I cannot imagine my own little 10 pound dog being at a pound. I desperately want this little gal to get out. Alana weighs about 10 pounds and is between one and two years old, best guess.
