Found in the woods and field in an area on Epsons Road in Campbell County. Six precious puppies who are not our typical strays, in that they are well-socialized, know all about eating dog kibble, and LOVE to be held. Around 8 weeks old, too. They were treated to flea baths which also took care of the ticks we found trying to invade their space, and have been dewormed and vaccinated.
We try to give puppies at the county facility their first vaccines and deworming. We socialize them, but also keep them healthy, safe and quarantined to the best of our ability at the pound. Out-of-the-area adopters will be disappointed to learn that puppy adoptions directly from the county facility are limited to citizens from counties touching Campbell County, Campbell County itself, or the City of Lynchburg. Other folks may adopt, but must go through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control.
