Pit Bull Terrier (short coat) : : Female : : Young : : Large
Lillie, one year old, has been through serious trauma. She was knocked cold after being kicked by someone who felt threatened by her presence. There is no indication she was anything but loving, but because she is a pit bull, she was marked as a "threat" and the person felt he had to defend himself from her getting close. I am so saddened by her injury, as she is the most loving girl I have met. She had a concussion but is now up and moving around. Need I tell you how afraid she is of men now, and of hands reaching for her, and feet coming close to her? She was checked at the animal emergency clinic and was given a go-ahead on adoption when she is ready. Please share her plight! No dog should be treated like this!
