Oh, no, Skunk tested positive for heartworm! I am devastated. He is neutered and will remain in his foster family's' home while he is being treated. He is housetrained, great with kids, and is learning to sleep in a crate. These are great accomplishments for a dog who has only been an outdoor dog and weighs 80 pounds! This handsome fellow is an extra large boy! He is a gentle giant. 3 years old, owner surrendered. His name was Skunk, but we have changed that to "Chunk!" He is great with kids, but really loves ladies and seems fine with other female dogs or younger calmer males. He is a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly when he gets love and attention!!
