UPDATE: Dash has a broken leg. The bad news is that it is right at the growth plate of his elbow. He is in major pain! We are checking out all options, but it appears that we will need to make a decision soon. He has been living with this injury for several weeks. Dash came to us as broken dog .. . his front left leg is swollen and he can't touch it down to walk, and he is sporting a gash down the length of his back that is trying to heal. The vet feels he was hit by a car and rolled under it, accounting for the open wound that can't heal so well. X-Rays and the prognosis are happening later today and then we can fill in our readers on what is going on. Dash is 3-1/2 to four months old and is the SWEETEST little man! He loves attention and has been getting lots of it! He is beginning to cut his teeth so chewing is on the agenda, too! He is trying hard to be housetrained.
