About Avalanche

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: White
8 years old. 12 pounds. Avalanche is still working on his housetraining, because he was neutered only recently. He is a delightful little dog who doesn't know he is a senior. He lost most of his teeth when he had a dentistry last week (because he has eaten only canned food all of his life.) He retains his four canine teeth and can eat crunchy food just fine, despite few teeth. Avalanche will be happiest in a home with another nice little dog. He came to us with a buddy, Kory, but doesn't need to be adopted with him. He is fine being held and he LOVES attention! He is not quite as white as he was immediately after his groom, because he is having a great time playing outside in the red mud with his little foster dog buddies. Please contact a volunteer at 434.851-2598 if you need more information, and we can also send you an application. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. Further information or an application to adopt can be obtained by email, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org, or by calling one of our volunteers at 434.851-2598. For more information on how to adopt, sponsor, or donate to help the animals at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility, please go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. See our wish list of needed supplies, and find out how you can help! Friends of Animal Control's mission is to aid animals in Campbell County. Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
