Everything in his life is new and scary right now, but Avalanche has a devoted foster family whose goal is to help him be more adoptable and ready to be independent and in a new home. Avalanche will need to be a companion to another outgoing dog, as he has no idea what to do as an only dog. He will also be best in a fenced yard where he can attend to potty duties without the restraint of a leash. He has always had a buddy and perks up when another nice dog is around! He does enjoy eating activities, despite his lack of teeth (a dentistry at the time of his neuter left him with four canine teeth--and nothing else!) He enjoyed riding with me and looking out the windows of the van, and was excited about going to his new foster home. He is a real joy of 8 to 9 pounds and 8 years old. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility.
