Belle was turned over to animal control by her famiily. We have no idea why they didn't take an eleven year old dog with them when they moved. She is not spayed but was at least kept current with her rabies vaccine and was an indoor dog, so transitioning to a new home where she is indoors was not a problem for her. She is actually very well adjusted, so whether that is just her nature or her previous family made a point of socializing her, we will never know. She gets along very well with both cats and dogs. She knows what a sofa is, and takes over as soon as she enters the room where a sofa is present. Gotta love that in a dog! Her white muzzle is distinctive and elegant, and she carries herself well.
