We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Possum has been at the pound for six weeks! She is more, more, MORE than ready for a home! Please take her in with you. There is no adoption fee to take her home! Possum gets along great with other cats and can take any rough housing from puppies. She's very self entertained and has been at the shelter for so long now she just wants a place she can call her own. To adopt this cat, please contact the Campbell County Animal Control Facility at 434-821-4416. The policy for adoption requires that you live in Lynchburg City, Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens who are too young to be sterilized may be adopted out through a local rescue, Friends of Cambpell County Animal Control, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org
