We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Ten weeks old and homeless? Oh no! How can this be? Lovey is the most socialized, easy to love, and gentle hound/lab pup you have ever met! He is the PERFECT age for adoption, because his mom, littermates, and his canine mom have been there for him all this time. He is the pup who can be carried around by a six year old, upside down like a baby, and still see great joy in life. He can be YOUR big baby boy if you play your cards right! This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. For an application to adopt (we always start with an application) or for further answers to your questions, we prefer you contact us by email, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org Specific questions may be answered by email. The foster coordinator will reply to specific email questions sent to info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org, or text messages sent to 434.851-2598. We cannot adopt out of state, or out of our area, unless you are willing to come her to meet the puppy. You must have a current vet reference already in placed in you adopt from outside our local area.
