About Chance

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: White
We are still debating Chance's breed mix, but it is not nearly as important as the fact that he is a pretty awesome dog who has not been given a fair shake at a home in his young life. Chance appears to be about 8 or 9 months old. He came to the facility from a family who didn't give us any information about him at all, si we have had to rely on his brief forays to other homes to figure him out. He seems to have some separation anxiety, so will probably be happiest in a home where there are other canines to share time with him. The best match will be with a dog who will be a good "auntie" to him and help him learn appropriate behavior. He is smart as can be! He picks up good behavior quickly! He will sit and wait gently for a treat. He learned to use the doggy door at one home in just minutes, after watching the resident dogs go in and out. He is still learning about toys and how to play with them, but he has energy to burn, and adores running, running, running. A fenced yard would be the perfect frosting on the cake for this boy! He is neutered, up to date, and would dearly love to be your best friend!"
