Beagle (short coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Medium
JJ is a very popular guy! From an emaciated stray, found on the side of the road in Appomattox County, to a life with food and sweet volunteers, to a beloved foster dog now living in Blacksburg, he has come nearly full circle! The only thing this beagle lacks is a forever home! WE know there is one just waiting for him!
At his foster home, he is learning about comfortable living--a soft cushy bed, plenty of food, a fenced yard, and another good dog buddy to keep him company! He is happy to be alive, after being rescued from the pound in Appomattox, following a near-death experience with starvation on the rural highway. JJ's foster was drawn to him and his story and offered to help find him a home, despite the fact that he lives two hours away in Blacksburg. LOVE knows no boundaries!! JJ is 3 to 4 years old, weighs 25 pounds, neutered, up to date with HW testing and vaccines, and is wishing he could be YOUR dog! He adores the chocolate lab who is his canine companion and even loves the cat. He adores soaking up the sun in the fenced backyard.
