Snowshoe (short coat) : : Male : : Baby : : Medium
Poor Eli, he was brought in with both of his eyes infected! He is a vision impaired kitten, who has already visited the vet for an FelVFIV combo test (negative/ negative) and antibiotic ointment for his eyes. He was either born without eyes, or his eyeballs ruptured when he was very tiny. Once the infection clears up, the prognosis is good that he will be just fine. (If the infection recurs, he may need to have his eyes stitched shut.) Eli does well in a familiar environment, seeking out the litter box and food bowls as he can. What a precious kitten! Please email info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org if you are interested in this special needs boy. He is in a foster home.

To adopt this cat, email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org. The policy for adoption requires that you live in Lynchburg City, Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens who are too young to be sterilized may be adopted out through a local rescue, Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
