This is little Pumpkin and while I'm not a fan of naming animals after food or giving them ordinary names Pumpkin just seemed to fit this little one. We are calling her a British Longhair which is a best breed guess. (though petfinder doesn't have that as a breed) But she looks the part. This little one needs out of the shelter as soon as possible! The policy for adoption requires that you live in Lynchburg City, Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens who are too young to be sterilized may be adopted out through a local rescue, Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
