Transferred to rescue on 9/11/13 to Blue Ridge Border Collie Rescue! New to the CCAC facility on Friday, August 23: Owner give up SMOKEY, an Australian Cattle Dog/Border collie mix. Male. Not neutered. Signed over to AC because, we were told, he can climb an eight foot fence to get to chickens.... This is a dog who would obviously love some structured training time and a home inside with a family to keep him busy! UPDATE: SMOKEY is loving life to the fullest in his new foster home, where he is hanging out with two guys who give him attention and playtime every day. What a lucky boy he is! SMOKEY is about 1 year old, and was given up by his family. He is housetrained and has great manners! This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility.
