Pippin is a 6 week old kitten who was literally abandoned at the CCAC facility one cold night and this little boy was all but chilled to the bone when he was found, in a cat carrier. He is flea-infested and too tiny to be alone. But the good news is Pippin made it through his first night following his rescue by CCAC volunteers. We are pulling for this little guy who desperately needs a caring and loving home. Please come meet him today. As a note it is recommended that kittens under 12 weeks be adopted in pairs as they are very social creatures and need a friend or sibling to prevent behavior issues and loneliness. The policy for adoption requires that you live in Lynchburg City, Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens who are too young to be sterilized may be adopted out through a local rescue, Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
