About Autumn (aka Louise)

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Black
Autumn, and her sister Allie, are new to the facility. They are adorable 7 week old lab/beagle mixes. They came in with a lice problem which the foster mom is getting rid of and they will be available for adoption soon. UPDATE from foster mom 10/14/13: Autumn is becoming quite a love bug. We have been treating both girls for lice infestation which is a 21 day process to insure the nits are dead. So daily baths and brushing are a must. We have seen no live nits or lice for a week now so we know we have done the job of killing the nits but will continue for 21 days to be safe. Allie is a slow eater and Autumn is a gobbler. When Autumn is done, she goes for Allie's food so we have to crate one while the other eats to insure they are getting the food they need. We are guessing they are 7-8 weeks old now. Being young babies they sleep together in a crate and snuggle together. They are cratetrained already and we are working on getting them in a routine for housetraining. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. For an application to adopt, go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
