Scooter was injured when she ran out in front of a moped near the Apple Market on highway 24. She is under a year old, about 15 pounds and appears to be a Yorkie-Poodle mix. She is very scared and because she is injured, we were given permission to allow her to go to a foster home for resting and recovering. UPDATE 10/20/13: She loves her foster home and is the kind of dog we say is a "mess," because she is wide open exploring and running hither and yon, and then she just crashes asleep. What a doll! UPDATE 10/28/13: Scooter had internal bruising from her accident, but now is fever and pain free! She plays with other dogs and has more fun than you can imagine. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. For an application to adopt, go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
