About Teigra

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Gray, Blue or Silver Tabby
  • Housetrained: Yes
Poor Teigra! She was caught in a cat trap one to many times by a man trying to catch a raccoon. The man brought her in insisting she was a wild cat! Our ACO saw right through that when Teigra rubbed and loved her through the trap. The man said he caught her on Loopond Dr in Rustburg but no such drive exists! We think she was maybe a neighbors cat he grew tired of so he brought her in. SHe was recently spayed and such a lover! Check out our FOAC CATS Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/FOACCATS As a note it is recommended that kittens under 12 weeks be adopted in pairs as they are very social creatures and need a friend or sibling to prevent behavior issues and loneliness. To adopt this cat, please contact the Campbell County Animal Control Facility at 434-821-4416, or email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org. The policy for adoption requires that you live in Lynchburg City, Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens who are too young to be sterilized may be adopted out through a local rescue, Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org.

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
